Meeting Google penalization system
Yesterday I received evidence of the existence of Google sandbox. My recent post was ranking on page one for two keywords “need wordtracker” and “don’t need wordtracker” (unfortunately no screenshot to show).
However after several hours I noticed that my post disappeared from Google index.
It seems logical to me. Google doesn’t like new websites ranking high in the SERP. That’s why devaluation in the SERP of sites follows immediately.
I didn’t do anything wrong. No inbound links, no over optimization. Only keywords analysis and writing content, both natural techniques. Nothing what might help blog to rank higher. Also traffic hasn’t changed. It is still the same as before.
I took extra measures to push my post back into the Google index. Now I’m waiting for that magic moment when it will be back. My biggest interest is ranking in the SERP after its return.
Blog Traffic Geek faced the same problem as me. His experimental Virtual office Cleveland blog was ranking on page two for relevant keyword. But Google applied its unpredictable penalization system and put blog into the sandbox.
